We have recently been remodeling our Bath Houses and our Laundry Room to keep you neat and clean while you camp.
Kamp Kitchen Snack Bar Open!
We are pleased to add our new Kamp Kitchen Snack Bar to the list of great facilities that we have to offer. Open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
We will be serving a full menu of delicious food from "All You Can Eat" Pancakes Breakfasts to Burgers & Fries and Shrimp Baskets. Many specials added every week,
so be sure to grab a menu when you arrive. Be sure to check out our campground events to find out when we will be hosting our special food events,
such as Pig Roasts and Chicken BBQs. You won't go hungry here!

Susquehanna River Valley Group Camping
Williamsport South / Nittany Mountain KOA has a large heated Recreation Hall and a wooded, outdoor picnic grove, complete with a covered pavilion and large fire pit. Either area is perfect for your club meetings, large gatherings or family reunions.

Susquehanna River Valley Camping Rates
Susquehanna Valley camping at Williamsport South / Nittany Mountain KOA is fun and affordable, whether you park an RV or pitch a tent at one of our campsites or you rent one of our convenient and comfortable cabins or cottages.
2010 Campsite Rates
Rates are subject to change based on availability and occupancy. One Family and One Camping Unit per Site.

Visitors are welcome to use all the campground facilities. Visitors must register at the main office prior to entering the park and pay fees accordingly. Visitors are the responsibility of the registered camping guests that they are visiting. Day visitors must leave the park by 10pm or overnight fees will apply. |

Seasonal Camping - Take advantage of a great way to make a home away from home. Seasonal Campers enjoy spacious wooded sites, with a variety of services and amenities. You get a full Camping season from April through October, filled with a packed calendar of events and activities to keep campers of all ages busy throughout the year. Winter on-site storage is also available. Keep your RV all set for the next season. Full Season Packages start at $1485.00, offering your family a great vacation value at a bargain price. New “Mini Seasonal Packages” are now available. Shorter Seasonal stays for just the Spring, Summer or Fall are a great way to try out Seasonal Camping or camp when you can stay the most. Great for busy families that have school or sports and can camp over the Summer only, or campers that like the quiet of early or late season camping. Call or email our main office for any or all of the package pricing and details.
Midweek Storage Special - Save yourself the trouble of packing all your camping equipment, only to come back for some more fun the next week. Take advantage of our "Midweek Storage Special." Camp two consecutive weekends and leave your camper on-site for a minimal $25.00 fee. (Subject to availability. Not valid on pull-thru sites. Maximum of 3 weekends per offer.)
Monthly Rate - $450.00 for a campsite with water, metered electric, cable TV hookup. Add $50.00 per month for sewer sites.
RV Storage - Save room in your driveway, or save yourself some gas money. Store your RV with us for only $30.00 per month. We offer additional services, such as RV winterizing to help you maintain your camper and save you some time and effort.

Rental Cabins & Cottages
If you like to travel light or are new to camping, experience the comfort and convenience of the Williamsport South/Nittany Mountain KOA Kampground rental cabins and cottages. There are several sizes and styles to suit your needs. Treat your family to a luxurious stay in our brand new Deluxe Cottages, Country Cottage, or our Log Cabin Lodge. These full service units come fully equipped with all the comforts of home. All you need to bring are your linens. Or you can try one of our rustic Camping Cabins, for a more traditional camping experience. Our rental units are the perfect option for a quick getaway or to introduce yourselves or friends to everything that camping has to offer.
New in 2009 - Deluxe Cottages
We are pleased to offer a great new camping option at our park. Our brand new Deluxe Cottages provide only the best in rustic luxury. Each cottage is fully furnished with two bedrooms, with one double bed and one set of single bunks. There is a full bathroom and equipped kitchen. We provide a refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and all the basic kitchenware that you will need during your stay. All you need to bring are your linens. The double entry doors in the main living area, allow you to open up to the outdoors. Cable TV, A/C and heat complete the full package. This is camping at its finest!
Log Cabin Lodge

This beautiful old hunting cabin is nestled in the secluded backwoods of the campground. This large cabin is fully furnished with two bedrooms, with double beds. There is a full bathroom and kitchen, as well as a large living area, complete with wood burning stove, and futon. We provide a refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and all the basic kitchenware that you will need during your stay. All you need to bring are your linens. There is A/C and heat and a TV to complete the package. The Log Cabin Lodge rental lets you enjoy a natural lodge camping experience.
Country Cottage

Our Country Cottage is conveniently located near the front of the park, making for easy access to all activities and events. This unit is fully furnished with two bedrooms, one with one double bed and the other with two sets of single size bunks. It is perfect for larger families. There is a full bathroom and kitchen, as well as a large living area, and covered front porch. We provide a refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and all the basic kitchenware that you will need during your stay. All you need to bring are your linens. There is A/C and heat and a TV to complete the package.
Camping Cabins

Our camping cabins are a perfect arrangement for a true camping experience with some of the comforts of home. These cabins have a view of the playground and offer a secure sleeping place for four with a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Outside is a covered front porch, a picnic table, a fire ring for your campfires and a cooking grill for your hotdogs and hamburgers. We have added small refrigerators and TV’s with Cable TV hookups as an added convenience for you.

Reservation, Cancellation & Pet Policies
Reservation Policies
- All reservations require a minimum 1 night paid deposit on a credit card at the time of reservation.
- All weekend reservations require a two night minimum stay, with a one night paid deposit.
- Holiday Weekends require a 3 night minimum stay & a 3 night paid deposit.
- Holiday rates apply to Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day Weekends
- All other Weekends Require a 2 night minimum stay and a 1 night paid deposit.
National KOA Cancellation Policies
- 48 Hours Notice on Campsites
- 1 Week Notice on Rental Units
- $10.00 Cancellation Fee applies to each cancellation
- Holiday/Special Weekend Exceptions:
Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Sawmill Festival Weekend require 1 week notice for all campsites, and 2 weeks notice for all rental units. Little League World Series Week requires 2 weeks notice for all campsites and all rental units: $10.00 fee will still apply.
Pet Policy: The Nittany Mountain KOA Kampground is a “Pet Friendly” park. We know that your pets are part of the family, and want them to be part of your camping experience, but in the effort to make this a safe environment for all campers, we ask that you adhere to the following pet guidelines:
- Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at any KOA. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it at home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of the KOA will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.
- All dogs are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owners at all times. A 6 foot leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside of the owner’s RV, tent or rental unit. No dog is to be left tied up or unattended outside of the owner’s camping equipment.
- Allowing your dog to bark uncontrollably day or night will not be permitted and you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet’s barking behavior.
- Valid and current rabies documentation is required in case of emergencies.
- Pets are permitted in our Kabins, Cottage & Log Home, with the understanding that any damages incurred by your pet will incur a minimum $50.00 repair/cleaning fee depending on the level of damage. All damages are the sole responsibility of the pet owner.
- All pet owners are required to clean up after their pets. Designated Pet Walk areas are equipped with trash bags and trash cans for waste disposal.
- Service dogs of any breed are welcome; however, they must follow the leash policies and may not exhibit aggressive behavior.
