Here at the Nittany Mountain KOA, we are pleased to offer a wide variety of fun activities for all ages. We have a long list of
Theme Weekends to make your camping trip even more fun. In addition to all these events, we have a regular schedule of Hayrides,
Fire Truck Rides, Ice Cream Socials, Bingo, Ceramics, Wii Games, Indoor & Outdoor Drive In Movies, and so much more!
Campground Events
APRIL
April 2-4: Hippity Hoppity Easter Party:
Kick off the camping season with a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Have fun decorating eggs, playing jelly bean games, and hunting for Easter eggs.
We will be hosting a Free Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning.
April 9-11: It's All Fun & Games Party:
Board Games, Mini Golf Tournament, Twister Challenge, Word Games, Wii Games, a Scavenger Hunt, and a Bingo marathon will
keep you guessing, smiling, and laughing all weekend long. Seasonal Campers are invited to the Spring Seasonal Camper Meeting.

April 16-18: Spring Has Sprung! Weekend:
It's starting to warm up, so get outdoors & enjoy the sunshine!
Help build new flower beds & plant flowers, arts & crafts and more.
Enjoy the first Ice Cream Social of the season.
April 23-25: Giant Yard Sale Weekend:
Clean out the garage, your house and your RV & set up your "yard" sale right at your campsite.
This event will be open to the public all day Saturday. Bring all your trash and turn them into someone else's treasures.
Our large Indoor Recreation Hall will be used in the event of bad weather.
April 30-May 2: RV Show Weekend:
Come visit during our RV Show & Open House. Check out the great choices of
new campers from several local RV dealers and take a test drive on one of the new golf carts on display.
Tour the campground on one of our Hayrides. You do not need to camp with us this weekend to enjoy the show,
but you will miss out on the fun at Ceramics, Bingo, Drive In Movie & more.

MAY
May 7-9: Mother's Day Weekend:
Treat Mom to a weekend that is as special as her. Kids can make a great gift for Mom.
Dad has to watch the kids while Mom enjoys a ladies only Wine & Cheese Party with a special surprise class.
The whole family can enjoy the "Mommy" Games on Saturday night, and bring Mom to a great Breakfast ($) on Sunday morning. Mom eats for Free!

May 14-16: "Come Camp and Care With Us Weekend":
Enjoy a special weekend and national fundraising event to help

May 28-May 31: Memorial Day Weekend:
Come celebrate the first big weekend of the camping season.
All the summer fun starts now! The Snack Bar & Swimming Pools open for the season. Fire Truck Rides, Hayrides,
Golf Cart & Bicycle Parade, Horseshoe Tournament, Bingo, Family Kickball Challenge, and the fun goes on and on...
Sugarfoot DJ will be here to get you dancing on Saturday night.

JUNE
June 4-6: High School Reunion Prom Party:
Flashback to High School. Dress up just like you did for your
High School Prom - no matter what year it was- and come to our great reunion party. Bring your yearbook and
vote for King & Queen of the prom. Fun games from all eras will keep you laughing and bring back great memories.

June 11-13: Strawberry Festival:
Summer is getting started now. Come enjoy some of the best treats that it has to offer.
Summer Arts & Crafts, Bubble Fun, Free Strawberry Shortcake Social and a Drive In Movie will get summer off to a great start.
June 18-20: Father's Day Weekend:
It's Dad's turn to have a really special weekend. Fathers get to show
off their skills at the Dad Olympics, check out the all hot rods at our Classic Car Show on Saturday or play
in the Texas Hold 'em Tournament. Treat Dad to an "All You Can Eat" Breakfast on Sunday morning. ($) Dads eat Free!
June 25-27: Kids Silly, Sloppy, Sticky Weekend:
This weekend is all about getting messy, sloppy and slippery. Here comes the ever popular - "Slop-stacle Course" -
and it will be messier than ever! Kids have a special Hayride just for them with a secret surprise.
A DJ Dance party, Candy Bar Bingo, and more will keep the kids busy all weekend long.
JULY
July 1-5: July 4th Celebration:
Get ready for some red, white & blue holiday fun. We have a full schedule of
games and events to keep you busy on this long weekend. Join in on the Patriotic Bike & Golf Cart parade, Kid's
Flashlight Candy Hunt, Arts & Crafts, Tie Dye Party, and much more. The "Men & Machine" band will be here to
perform on Saturday Night.
July 9-11: Wild West Weekend:
Kick up your heels for a rootin' tootin' good time. Take aim at the Shooting
Gallery and win a prize. At "High Noon" the Sherriff will be comin' to town. Have a friend or foe "arrested" and
thrown in our real cowboy jail. This is a great fundraiser for KOA Care Camps. You stay in the "pokey" until someone
bails you out! Be sure to get your tickets for our great Chicken BBQ Dinner on Saturday night ($) then dance it
off with our live country band.
July 16-18: Sawmill Festival #1:
This weekend will challenge your skills and test your strength.
There is a very full schedule of events, including Nail Driving Contests, Log Rolling, Cross Cut Saw,
Watermelon Seed Spitting, Tug of Water, Blindfold Boat Race, Greased Pole Climb, and even more! There
is an event for all ages and skill levels. Finish the weekend with the Awards Ceremony.
July 23-25: Sawmill Festival #2:
Here it comes again. We just can't get enough of this great weekend.
Join in for the first time or come back from last weekend and try your luck again. Dance the night
away at the DJ dance party on Saturday night.
Check out our "Hot Deals" on www.koa.com. This is a great time to take advantage of the
"On Site Storage Special": Come back for two great weekends and leave your camper on site.
July 30-August 1: Christmas in July:
Ho, ho, ho! Even Santa likes camping. He will be stopping by to
visit with all the good little girls & boys. Get festive with the site decorating contest, the best
decorated tree competition, and our Cookie Decorating Party. Parents help Santa fill his bag with
toys for your children. He will be making a special delivery just for them.

AUGUST
August 6-8: Wet & Wacky Beach Party Weekend:
It will be a wet & wild weekend. Bring your biggest squirt gun
or Super Soaker for the Water Wars & the always wild "Wet" Fire Truck Ride. Head to the beach to build a giant
sand castle, then the little kids will dig for treasures. Head back to shore for a great Tie Dye Party and get
your tickets for the delicious Pig Roast Dinner ($). Stay for the live musical luau party.
August 13-15: Family Olympics:
Let the Games Begin! Get your family teams together and join in on the fun-filled games of skill, luck, and creativity. Plan ahead for the highlight of the day … The annual "Float Your Boat" competition.
Build your best creation of cardboard, plastic wrap & duct tape only. Then get on board, to paddle across our pond.
Finish the day at our Family Cook-out and "All You Can Eat Corn Roast." Seasonal Campers are invited to attend the
Fall Seasonal Camper Meeting. Get all the information and start planning for the 2011 camping season.
August 20-22: Summer Carnival Weekend:
Step on down and try your hand at some games of skill, talent, and just plain luck.
You can try to win a prize at the Ring Toss, Duck Pond, Dart Throw and more! Face Painting and the Bounce Castle will keep the
kids going all day. Don't forget - The Little League World Series will be starting this weekend!
August 20th - August 29th - 2010 Little League World Series
This is a great local and FREE event for the whole family. The baseball fields & Little League Museum are
located in South Williamsport, only a 20 minute drive from our KOA Kampground.

August 27-29: Little League World Series Weekend:
Take me out to the ball game! It will be a home run weekend that is
all about baseball. The Little League World Series Championship Games will be held over this weekend, but if you
decide not to go to the games, we will keep you running the bases back at the park.

SEPTEMBER
September 3-6: Labor Day Weekend:
It may be the end of Summer, but the fun will just not stop. We will keep the party going with Candy Bar Bingo, Fire Truck Rides,
Mini Golf Tournament, Site Sales, Ceramics, Horseshoe Tournament, live music with Sugar Foot DJ, and so much more! Last weekend for the swimming pools.
September 10-12: Annual Chili Cook-Off:
It’s Hot & Spicy or it’s Mild & Mellow. You cook up a batch of your best
Chili Recipe and bring it to our annual Chili Competition. Judges and your fellow campers will get a chance to try
out your creations. Prizes awarded for the winners. We will be cooking up our own batch of chili & homemade
cornbread for all to enjoy. Bring your bowls & spoons!
September 17-19: Fall Football Tailgate Party & Wing Contest:
Keep on cooking for this great fall football weekend.
Punt, Pass & Kick your way through this fun football weekend. Join us for “Wing Fest.” Enter your favorite wings in our
Wild Wings Competition. Prizes awarded for different categories. Get your tickets for our “All You Can Eat Tailgate Party
Wing Buffet” ($) on Saturday Night.
September 24-26: Fair Weekend:
It time for the opening weekend of the 156th Annual Bloomsburg Fair! Have a great time

OCTOBER
October 1-3: Fall Fling & RV Show:
The air is getting cooler, but our giant cooking pots are just warming up.
We will be cooking up a batch of “Hobo Stew” this weekend. We add the meat, and you add whatever other ingredients you would like.
Bring your bowls & spoons and enjoy a great bowl of stew. It always turns out great. While the stew simmers, check out all the
great RVs on display at our end of season RV Show from some of our local RV dealers.
October 8-11: Fall Festival Weekend:
Enjoy the great crisp fall air. We will be celebrating all the best of the season.
We will be cooking up a batch of our homemade “Scrapple”, having fun with our harvest games and decorating pumpkins.
Join us for a fun Wine & Cheese Party for Adults on Saturday. We will have Cider & Cookies for the kids, too!
Columbus Day Weekend Special - Stay Fri & Sat Get Sun Free
October 15-17: Halloween Party Weekend #1:
It’s going to be a Hauntingly good time! Dress up as your best
little ghost or goblin and come to our fun Halloween Costume Contest & Party. This is fun for all ages, not
just the kids! You can even dress up your pet! Enter the Site Decorating Contest and Trick-or-Treat to all the campsites.
Take advantage of some super bargains at our storewide “Moonlight Madness Sale.”
Get ready to scream when you creep your way through our Haunted House & Terror Maze!
You never know what may be lurking in the darkness! ($) Open to the public.
October 22-24: Halloween Party #2:
We just can’t get enough of the Halloween fun! Come back again and join in on same fun that we had on Halloween #1.
October 29-31: End Of Season Wind Down Weekend:
Well, we knew that all good things must come to an end,
on this last camping weekend. Have one last round of mini golf on us, join us for the “Clean Up” ice cream social,
and check out the blowout prices on the end of season sale.
